Mona Lisa B. Dela Cruz elected as new InLife Independent Trustee
We are pleased to announce the election of Mona Lisa B. Dela Cruz as new Independent Trustee of Insular Life to replace former Independent Trustee Atty Emmanuel F. Dooc who resigned, effective 10 June 2024.
Ms. Dela Cruz was a former InLife Trustee and was also its former President and Chief Executive Officer until her retirement on 07 June 2021. Prior to her appointment as CEO, she was the Company’s Treasurer, Chief Actuary and Head of the Administrative Operations.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics from the University of the Philippines and Master of Science degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Michigan. She is a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of the Philippines and an Associate of Actuaries in the U.S.
Lisa’s proven competence, expertise, and familiarity with the operations of the Company and the insurance industry will definitely be valuable contributions to InLife in our pursuit of higher growth and profitability and service to our policyholders and the insuring public.
